Hi! I'm Helena
From the moment I could talk, I was asking, "What’s the plan?" Growing up as the oldest in a single-parent home, I naturally became the organizer—planning family gatherings, baking cupcakes, and making sure every detail was just right. I found joy in turning ordinary moments into something extraordinary.
As a child, I dreamed of opening Bean’s Bakery (because my nickname was Bean)—but as I grew, I realized my true passion lay not in the cupcakes but in the celebrations. I shifted my focus to planning events and earned my degree in event management to bring that passion to life.

I pour my heart into creating weddings that are effortlessly beautiful and packed with love—and, of course, a little fun along the way!
Tampa’s wedding scene is nothing short of magical. From historic venues with stunning spiral staircases to breathtaking waterfront locations, the city offers endless possibilities for creating unforgettable celebrations. Of course, planning here comes with its own unique challenges—like the ever-changing Florida weather—but I’ve learned how to create seamless plans that keep the day perfect, rain or shine. Tampa’s vibrant mix of culture, natural beauty, and timeless charm has become the backdrop to so many love stories I’ve been honored to bring to life.
A significant source of inspiration in my life is my grandmother, Melissa Ferguson, an incredibly talented interior designer in Cleveland. Her creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and zest for life have shaped my approach to wedding planning and the love I pour into each couple's big day.

As your expert wedding planner in Tampa

- Final venue walk-through (1 hour)
- Final DJ/Band/Entertainment meeting (1 hour)
- End-of planning vendor confirmations (to make any necessary adjustments)
- Reaching out to all hired wedding pros 6 to 8 weeks prior to the wedding day to gather the appropriate information needed to ensure an accurate wedding weekend timeline
- Ensuring that the wedding day runs seamlessly
- Reviewing the planning arrangements
- Reviewing the contracts
- Checking & Confirming delivery times and dates
- Confirming arrival times
- Confirming rental items (numbers needed)
- Continuous contact via email (to answer couple questions throughout the planning process)
- Etiquette advisement
- Checking in monthly with the couple (via email)
- Providing a wedding planning checklist
- Proofreading the invitation stationery
- Creating a detailed wedding timeline
- Communicating with the each of the hired wedding pros
- Communicating with the venue
- Distributing the final timeline to the venue, vendors, wedding party, family (who will be in the ceremony processional), and the couple
- Becoming the "Single Point of Contact" within 8 weeks of the wedding
- Couple and Vendors/Venue will include the planner in all emails/calls/meetings to ensure that the planner is in the loop and aware of any and all changes and arrangements within 8 weeks of the wedding day.
