Hi! I'm Helena
Planning has always come naturally to me. Growing up as the oldest child in a single-parent home, I was the one organizing everything. I planned family dinners, baked cupcakes, and made sure every birthday felt a little extra special.
Back then, I dreamed of owning my own bakery called Bean’s Bakery. That was my nickname—Bean. But over time, I realized what I loved even more was the joy of bringing people together.
That love led me to study event management and eventually start Helena Elizabeth Events.

South Jersey holds a special place in my heart. I started my career here and fell in love with the charm of towns like Cape May. It feels like walking through a real-life storybook. I still love stopping by Uncle Bill’s Pancake House or visiting Congress Hall, one of my favorite venues. Fun fact, it was featured in the movie A Complete Unknown with Timothée Chalamet.
Now, I get to bring that same cozy, coastal magic to couples who want a wedding that feels timeless and heartfelt. My biggest inspiration is my grandmother, Melissa Ferguson. She was a talented interior designer who taught me the value of creativity, hard work, and loving what you do. I bring that same energy into every wedding we plan.
