About Helena
Hi! I'm Helena
From the moment I could talk, I was asking, What’s the plan? Growing up as the oldest in a single-parent home, I was the one organizing family events, baking cupcakes, and making sure everything was just right. I loved turning every little moment into something special.
As a kid, I dreamed of opening Bean’s Bakery (because, yes, my nickname was Bean)—but as I grew older, I realized that what really set my heart on fire was planning events. So, I swapped cupcakes for wedding timelines and earned my degree in event management.
My journey truly began when as a newlywed, I started working in event production and became a planner for wedding events in New Jersey. After my husband's military career took us to Tampa, I launched Helena Elizabeth Events.
A huge inspiration in my life is my grandmother, Melissa Ferguson, a super-talented interior designer in Cleveland. Her creativity, entrepreneurial drive, and ability to live life to the fullest have always been my guiding light.
